We are proud to share that Ghazaleh Madani, Founder and CEO of CanChip, has received the AmCham Germany Female Founders Award 2026.
The award was presented by the American Chamber of Commerce in Germany (AmCham Germany) on June 10, 2026, in Munich. The annual award recognizes outstanding female founders building innovative companies with the potential to create impact beyond their home markets.
The 2026 award was presented to Ghazaleh Madani, Founder and CEO of CanChip GmbH, and Miriam Corcoran, Co-Founder and CEO of MiViA GmbH. This year’s winning companies represent innovation at the intersection of biotechnology, industrial AI, research, and entrepreneurship.
CanChip was recognized for developing advanced organ-on-chip and tumor-on-chip systems designed to improve the predictability of drug development. By recreating human-relevant biological microenvironments on microfluidic chips, our technology enables pharmaceutical companies, biotechnology companies, and research partners to investigate drug responses and disease mechanisms in models that more closely represent human biology.
For Ghazaleh, the award also represents recognition of the journey behind CanChip.
“Receiving this award is a great honor for me and a special recognition of the progress we have made at CanChip. This distinction shows that courage, perseverance, and scientific excellence are recognized and valued.”
Beyond the recognition itself, the AmCham Germany network provides an important platform for international exchange. For CanChip, this creates new opportunities to strengthen connections between the German and US innovation ecosystems, develop international partnerships, and exchange experiences with other technology-driven companies and entrepreneurs.
We are grateful to AmCham Germany and the jury for this recognition and to our team, customers, partners, and supporters who continue to contribute to CanChip’s journey.
